The residence nil rate band: not all it seems
The inheritance tax residence nil rate band is now available and will potentially cut the inheritance tax bill on your estate by £40,000.
When Mr Osborne became chancellor, he froze the NRB at its 2009 level of £325,000, a freeze which he later extended until at least April 2021.
